Sarah is an English speaking virtual agent of PayPal. Sarah's mission if to assist Paypal's customers in 5 countries. Sarah assists the customer in some common operations, such as closing accounts. Watch the video to learn more!
Additional comments by developer Nuance: VirtuOz agents have been successfully implemented on 5 of the major PayPal sites: PayPal US, UK, Australia, Germany and France. Together, the agents are having, on average, 650 thousands conversations per month with PayPal customers. The agents direct a huge number of queries away from the PayPal call centers, while still providing important information to their users. |
I needed some help today at Paypal. When Sarah answered my questions in lightning speed. I started to wonder why she was so fast. Then it didn't seem to matter about what I needed to know. Then I thought I would play with her. I found out she likes pizza. Then she threw me a virtual kiss. No joking. But don't ask her if she takes a vacation. She has no understanding what that is. I had a fun time with her today!! |

Hi, I need your help to solve an issue with Paypal. On 26 september 2013 I bought a watch on EBay US. Unfortunately the Watch didn't correspond to the description. The seller recognized his fault/error. So I asked the full refund (amount of $945!) and sent back the Watch. At the Watch delivery, the seller invented a crazy and raving story saying that the Watch bracelet was dismantled. Totally wrong of course. He introduced a claim and Paypal studied the situation. On 14 November 2013, without informing me along the process, the dispute was closed. But I was very disappointed by the Paypal conclusion: indeed I received only a partial refund of $100!! while I'm the victim of seller fraud. I cannot understand and admit the Paypal's decision that goes against common sense and buyer protection rules. In the current situation, the seller recovered the Watch and kept my money (minus 100$)while I respected my commitments because I have not damaged or taken in pieces the bracelet. It is a pure invention of the seller without any evidence provided by him. I cannot imagine that Paypal concluded without solid and robust arguments and évidences. Thanks for your help. |
Didier In case you haven't noticed, this is a site that has its focus on robots communicating with humans. These comment pages are not related to the companies those robots belong to. I'm afraid I personally don't have any experience wiht PayPal, so I can't tell you where it might make sense to post your complaints. Even if Sarah would still be online, I doubt the guys of PayPal would read this page more than once in a blue moon. Hopefully you are not that desperate that you post your rant everywhere on the web where there is anything that has to do with PayPal, leaving no stone unturned for the faint hope of getting a response from PayPal. |
