The Virtual Agent (VA) is available on Symantec Consumer Support web site, on the Support home page. The Virtual Agent's mission is to assist Symantec consumers who have support issus. The Agent provides a resolution to their support issues while providing a superior user experience.
Additional comments by developer Nuance: The virtual agent is accessible on the support page among the Norton products which means that Nathan is able to detect the name and the version of the product the user is utilizing in order to give a personalized answer without having to ask him the name/version ! |
I had a Norton subscription through Jan 31 13. But then it said on the web that I had to renew it in December. So, I didn't make a fuss and renewed it. Now, it says that my subscription has expired. I know that one of the renewals was at Best Buy in Charlotte Nc. Can you PLEASE PLEASE help me? thanks, Valerie |
I keep getting alerts stating my subscription is expiring - have a confirmation no NP159842852 also was charged $61.48 on my master card account order date was 1/24/2013 please advise what is going on - am I covered or am I not covered - please advise |
I renewed my account for Norton 360 on January 23 and then an automatic renewal for Norton Internet security was charged. I do not need both. I would like a refund for one of them and do not want to be on automatic renewal to avoid this from happening next year. Thank you. |
I had a minor issue not being able to get into my e-mail (homepage) Norton tech, helped. As far as I know it is free through comcast, but I did agree to have for a monthly fee of $19.00 for more complicated issues. I am now being charged $89,98, i did not agree to that amount. I have called many times, have not been able to clear anything with them, except being directed from one person to another. Please help. |
I have been trying to renew my subscription for a week and keep running into problems. Can you send me some help. |
Guys, you need to contact Norton/Symantec directly. This is a website about chatbots and nobody will be able to help you with your queries. |
My debit card was charged 89.95 for an annual renewal of my Norton protection. I did not authorize this debit and would like my money back. My fiance is getting me a renewall. I have been on hold at your customer service number for 15 minutes. |
You'll be on hold even longer here, as this is a website about chatbots. Nobody from Norton/Symantec checks here. |
Re: Subscription renewal April 4, 2013 To Whom It May Concern: Do not renew my Norton Internet Security protection on April 4, 2013; you just provided me with Internet Security protection on February 2, 2013. Do you realize that you’ve been billing me twice a year going back to 2010 (and likely through 2008 which is when I purchased my newest computer to replace one that died). When I charged this on my VISA, I didn’t know you would use that private information to charge my VISA without my authorization. Why would you bill me twice every year? I have e-mail showing what you charged my account from 2010 to 2013: YEAR DATE $ + APPLICABLE TAX 2010 Feb. 1 75.59 2010 Nov. 9 69.99 2011 Feb. 1 75.59 2011 Oct. 26 75.59 2012 Feb. 3 79.99 2012 Oct. 26 69.99 2013 Feb. 2 79.99 2013 Apr. 4 69.99 I need you to take a look at the records and rectify the situation. I should not be charged $150 +/- each year for security protection. Jackie MacLean |
I'm sorry, chances that anyone that reads this will feel the least bit concerned are very low for this is a forum about chatbots, not about Symantec or any other company except as far as chatbots are concerned. And Nathan seems to be abandoned/expired (I didn't find him on the Symantec website anymore), so there is little hope anyone from Symantec will ever read this comments. You should contact Symantec directly. |
