The journal will publish wide-ranging, well-formulated clinical studies employing ethnographic methods, conversation analysis, grounded theory, case studies, phenomenology, biographical studies, and historical methodology. Research involving systemic functional linguistic theory or relevance theory, systemic and cognitive phonology, and interactional phonetics, is also encouraged.
