International Journal of Intelligent Games & Simulation (IJIGS) is a web-based publication of the University of Wolverhampton UK and The Society for Modeling and Simulation International (SCS Europe BVBA). The journal is a new forum that disseminate recent research results and review current progress in the field of intelligent games and simulation. It covers the introduction of AI into game development and the simulation of designs incorporating AI, so we have taken this as our theme for IJIGS. Although this is an academic journal, we hope that commercial games developers or publishers will not be put off submitting, as we welcome contributions linking academia with the commercial world.
In order to maintain a high standard for publication we have elected to send all papers submitted for critical review. We have been fortunate in putting together a distinguished Editorial Panel. Only papers satisfying their strict scrutiny will be accepted for publication and in this way we hope to quickly establish the reputation of IJIGS for high standards.
