The editors believe that philosophical reflection and analysis regarding communication is an intellectually exciting enterprise in its own right, but also important for today’s globalising and increasingly mediatised societies. They also believe that approaching traditional philosophical disciplines, topics and questions from the point of view of the impact communicative action and practices have on them is a necessary but underdeveloped area of intellectual activity.
