Summary: Cognitive Brain Research covers neural processes underlying intelligent mental activity and its disturbances.
Cognitive Brain Research publishes original experimental studies of neural processes underlying intelligent mental activity and its disturbances. Areas of higher nervous functions of particular interest are perception, learning memory, judgement, reasoning, language and emotion. Original reports dealing with all aspects of computational neuroscience including neural networks with reference to brain mechanisms subserving cognition are encouraged. Heuristic applications of chaos theory to the analysis of brain functions and aberrant neurobehavioural processes will also be considered for publication. Discontinued in 2005, absorbed into Brain Research in 2006.
