Since gaining her degree in Information Science Soulla Stylianou has experienced life working for various organisations from SME’s to big corporates. Her versatility has enabled her to take positions in organisations such as Walkersteelstock, SG Maintenance Services, Games Domain, Severn Trent Water and Severn Trent Systems. At Severn Trent Systems she helped design the company’s first intranet and published IT newsletters written in plain English! She even had a 6 month placement working at the European Commission in Brussels as a contractor learning a bit about cobol programming but a lot about troubleshooting and keeping the customer happy. Her last position before joining Daden was to work for Supporta Professional Services as a Business Development Consultant working on projects centred around Local Authorities and Planning. Soulla joined Daden in 2007 as Client Director and in April 2008 Soulla went to the Virtual Worlds conference in New York where she saw Linden Lab demonstrating Daden’s Los Angeles Airport visualisation on their stand. Virtual worlds are the ideal place to provide immersive learning and training environments – replicating real life situations without placing individuals at risk. Soulla is particularly interested in chatbot technology and has worked on a number of chatbot projects since joining Daden. |
