Julian Kuiyu (張圭煜) Chang

Dr. Julian Kuiyu Chang is currently Chief Scientist of LinkSure (Singapore). Prior to that he served as CTO for Fyreflyz (Singapore). From 2003 to 2013 he was a professor of computer engineering at Nanyang Technological University. From 2000 to 2002 Dr. Chang was member of technical staff at Interwoven (now HP/Autonomy, U.S.A.). Dr. Chang has published over 80 papers, including in top journals (IEEE PAMI, IEEE TKDE, ACM TIST) and conferences (WWW, ICDE, IJCAI, SIGIR), and is also recipient of 3 international best paper awards. Dr. Chang has consulted for enterprises in China, Singapore, and Malaysia on data-mining and open-source software adoption/migration. His research interest spans Text Mining, Sentiment Analysis, and Machine Learning. Dr. Chang received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, M.S. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and B.S. from National Taiwan University, all in Electrical/Computer Engineering. |
