BSc Experimental Psychology 1975 included course on AI programming in POP2. Started looking at KiwiLogic’s Lingubot early 2000’s but product was too expensive at that time for our business (smoking cessation products). Started with Pandorabots about 2006 (nicobot). In 2008 I took my bot into Second Life where she manned a reception desk and fooled most visiting avatars that there was a human behind her. Just taken nicobot out of retirement (called nicobot2, public name Nikki), updated her and introduced to the world via corporate website. |
