2nd International Conference on Human-Robot Personal Relationships
The 2nd Conference is a direct follow-up of the 1st Conferene, which took place in Maastricht. The first conference was an initiative by Myriam Diocaretz and Jaap van den Herik as a follow-up of the publishing of the Ph.D. thesis by David Levy (2007) titled: Intimate Relationships with Artificial Partners. The thesis and conference attracted again wide media publicity on a large scale.
As of September 1, 2008 the organisers of the Conference professor Myriam Diocaretz and Professor Jaap van den Herik (chair) moved to Tilburg. They are now affiliated to TiCC, which stands for Tilburg centre of Creative Computing. TiCC has taken up the challenge to continue the series of conferences on Human-Robot Personal Relationship.
