I’m always glad to help out however I can. Feel free to ask any questions you might have, and I’ll see what I can do about finding you a good answer. And if I can’t help, I’m sure that someone here can either help, or at least direct you to a person or place where you can find what you’re looking for. And if you need more assistance than just a simple question, feel free to email me, and I’ll see if something can be worked out. wink

What TTS are you using?
(it sounds well) not like Festival
Where can I get the code/pkg to test it ?
Does it work also for Spanish?
- thanks

Thank you Andy!

Oh yes indeed… It works in Spanish.  Thanks for asking.  You can test it at: http://www.DroidAI.com
While contest level bots like Skynet A.I. , Mitsuku, A.L.I.C.E. and ChatScript and others are the most popular… The basic robot building craft still has real world application.  A limited set of responses is often the most elegant solution to get the most out of limited resources, such as an awesome CAN (Controller Area Network), ** or even just being bandwidth friendly to tap into web based APIs.  One of the best kept secrets, is that studying the basic robot building craft is the best way to learn how the contest level bots are built.

Type your tech support question following “human=(TYPE YOUR HELPDESK QUESTION HERE)”

NOTE: You can type spaces instead of plus signs.  The plus signs make it work as a link, but in the address bar you can simply type spaces instead like: I need tech support on the item I purchased.

It’s response is displayed in raw XML which it is supposed to do as a webservice server
It can be plugged into any website as the webservice client matching that website theme.

Me: I am having trouble with my laptop
Response: Do you enjoy being having trouble with my laptop? For security purposes, may I ask you a few identification questions?
Me: yes.
Response: We are experiencing high call volume. Please try again later.

I think it may need some work.

Thanks for all the replies,
I’m using Program-O and my custom AIML database. But I plan to do some changes in program-o so that its learn feature can be improved. Problem is i’m not able to get its documentation anywhere, not even on its website. Please help me out.

Sorry I cannot help, the AIML and their different implementations were always obscure to understand and poorly or none documented.
I’d recommend you to grab some patience and revise the software thoroughly, its not as much complicated, and check for yourself.
My advice is that making it self-learning is not good, because you will easily loose control of the bot’s behavior in the hands of the users, instead check to make a log, that may contribute to a supervised statistics on the chats, so you may get a better understanding of what is going on during the user-bot chats, and you may react adding the needed logic to correct or straighten it.
Best luck!

The dev team for Program O is working very hard to get version 2.0 ready for public release, hopefully in the next few days. One of the improvements that we’re working on is the way the <learn> tag is handled. I can’t go into much in the way of details (that’s not one of the modules I’m working on, and Liz is a bit “tight-lipped” about her side of things smile ), but I have some pretty high expectations. Considering your time restrictions, this delay may be a bit of a concern, but it’s the best I can offer at the moment.
