2. The Introduction of A.L.I.C.E.

Stephen tries to get his double agent on, yet again (because it’s been going so well for him so far) and goes head-to-head with Ultra’s A.I. snark machine A.L.I.C.E, which stands for Artificial Linguistic Intelligence Computer Entity. She should probably just be the plucky sidekick already, since she’s the only “person” willing to call Stephen out on all of his Stephen-ness. She knows that he’s lying instantly when he claims to have been given permission to access some secret Ultra files and locks him in the A.I. room until Uncle Jed arrives.

A.L.I.C.E. is being played by Elizabeth Hurley in “The Tomorrow People” TV Series on: The CW.  Yes, that is the same totally awesome actress who starred in the Austin Powers movies, with her character, eventually being revealed to be a fembot, which exploded for comedy value.

So it is official… A.L.I.C.E. has reached the status of the Star Trek Enterprise computer!

‘The Tomorrow People’: Elizabeth Hurley and Robert Gant to guest-star

http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/11/the-tomorrow-people-elizabeth-hurley-and-robert-gant-to-guest-star.html

Some quotes from the zap2it article featuring to A.L.I.C.E.

“Not that we are likely to actually see Elizabeth Hurley in her “Tomorrow People” debut. That’s because (according to E!Online) Hurley will be playing Alice, an artificial-intelligence super-computer.”

“Alice is something of an evil computer with an oddly vindictive streak.”

“In Hurley’s first episode, “The Citadel,” Alice will go up against Stephen (Robbie Amell) in the hunt for rogue Tomorrow People.”

“In between fighting with Alice the Computer, poor Stephen also has to figure out if Peter is just interested in dating or if there is a deeper and more sinister connection.”

“The Tomorrow People” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
