So I was watching “2001: A Space Oddyssey” Followed swiftly by “Iron Man” whilst also playing with my JERVIS application on my phone which I have mainly been using as an in home application since Pandorabots crashed. So I thought hey why not try to get JERVIS to control my home? So after a couple not too extensive google searches I decided to come here my secondary ChatBot information website. Is there a way to connect a generic home automation system through AIML? I understand that it isn’t a very large “Sophisticated” laungage like C++ or maybe even BASIC but I and so many other people have done some pretty amazing things with it. So my question is, Is it possible to set up a home automation system in my house and program my chatbot to work with it through AIML?

I would thinks so yes.  If you used something like an AIML dll :

http://aimlbot.sourceforge.net/

(or make you own)

....then you could use custom AIML tags which that project supports.

So for example you could import the dll into a Visual Studio project.
