Well, maybe not the mind, per se, but certainly in your brain! I agree that some sources of pain (e.g. “phantom pain” from amputated limbs, psychosomatic pain, such as what hypochondriacs report, certain types of emotional pain, such as your links describe, etc.) seemingly have no physical causes, but they’re still, in some way, the brain’s way of indicating a problem. However, this is likely just a “distinction without a difference”, and as such, makes my statements prime candidates for ignoring.
