Additionally, this new requirement is inherently LESS secure than other methods of individual identity verification, AND poses a severe security risk to those contestants involved, as they don’t have any real idea who will be receiving the information requested. This requirement of sending sensitive personal information is misguided at best, and is suspicious in it’s nature.
To those involved, I would strongly recommend no further involvement with this contest. Of course, that’s just my opinion, but the level of evidence showing at least ineptitude, if not possible criminal intent, is sufficient for me to take this stance. I leave it up to everyone else to make up their own minds.
