Will the transcripts be available for the entries once the first stage has been completed?

I understand not providing them now, as it would compromise the contest (the bots not yet tested would know what the questions were) but it would be really useful to see the logs once this stage has been concluded.

You said that the judging started on the 14th, so it was approximately 2 weeks to get (3) three results, is this representative of how scores will be announced? Because at that rate we wont see the end of the first round until sometime in October I believe. Can you give us some idea of when this first round will be completed?

Speaking for myself alone, since my chatbot is new,
I really don’t mind the contest format.  It may give me
more of a chance to fix and fine tune this new system.

This is only the second contest so far for this chatbot.
So, as far as I am concerned, please take your time.
I am guessing it may be to my advantage.

First of all thank your for hosting this event. One thing all the promoters I have had contact with in various contests have in common is that they all agree it is a lot of work.  Because of the length of time involved in your format, there may be conflicts of time for some of the contestants. We are planning a migration which we had hoped to have started by this time, and while it can be achieved seamlessly, there is always the possibility of a problem causing the AI to come offline for a brief period. Some of the other contestants are preparing for other contests, and having a 100% up time may cause them problems as well. Due to the extended length of time, may I suggest that you designate 1 or 2 days a week as “offline” days so that those botmasters which need to perform regular or one time maintenance tasks can do so without worrying about missing a judging.

This would be nice if possible. The Loebner Prize is approaching and I really need to be working on Mitsuku and so cannot guarantee availability. I feel I am unable to start updating her just in case the Robo Chat Challenge judges visit.

Can you also give us an idea when the finals will be complete. May 5 - ?
