Saw in the news that Facebook was making it easier to purchase things on Facebook.
It seems all the technology companies are aimed at the same goal: being a one stop shop for socializing and purchasing. Google is becoming a vendor catalog; so how it is going to compete with Amazon where you can just go ahead and buy? And now that Facebook wants to be more like Amazon, it has something Amazon and Google do not - the social platform. Wanna bet Amazon starts building a social platform? All these companies want to be the vendors of everything. Not sure how Google and Apple survive.
