A new version of Yago has been released and it’s more comprehensive than ever. For those of you not familiar with Yago, it is the largest freely available knowledge base, combining a vast amount of factual information from numerous sources such as WordNet, Wikipedia and GeoNames into a unified triple store.
I wrote some highly optimised C code to handle earlier versions of Yago in an efficient binary format. Whether or not they can handle the 91GB comprising Yago3 without further refinement remains to be seen. I was wondering if anyone else here has tried working with Yago3 yet and if so, what did you find?
