Passing random sets as arguments

Can we pass random elements to a pattern macro? Will the spaces between words cause issues since spaces are used to position arguments? I tried using the contiguous format for random words but I dont think that works in a pattern—- only in output.

By random elements you mean [ this is an output] ? Spaces will indeed cause problems. You have to pass it as a string and then destring it later.
