Hey I’m storm, newer to chatbot designing, using chatscript found it thanks to dave. I’ve been dying to get on this forum n ask some specific questions to the pros n I just got my account thanks to Erwin. Beforehand ive just been nosedeep in the documentation n on here tackling everything headon. I’m gonna put a few ideas up here n hopefully get help from Steve or somebody. A link to an opensource bot. And a youtube vid on download, tutorial, and basics (unless anyone has any objections.).
Currently I’m working on two bots, Mike and Carl. The concept is a bit veered from the norm and really not supposed to pass as human but as intelligent. The project is really focused on the bot discussing existence with the user and will hopefully possess the ability to assist in theory building. Not really anything new but something I feel to be explored. I kind of envision Mike and Carl working together learning and teaching each other. Mike is the blunt force side of the project attempting to create casual dialogue. Carl is insanely inquisitive, receptive, and passive. Mike is more about humor and dialogue. Carl is more about functionality and resourcefulness. I’d like to fuse them at some point but i could really use some direction.
