I read through a bit of the docs… not all yet… but does BotPlatform also host your application ? Or would you use Microsoft Azure or Google Apps?  Or your own machine ‘running in your basement’ ?

Also, since I am using Perl, Not Java or VB (with COM), I guess I could have my perl bot listen on a local port, accept requests from a Java app , which would talk to my perl bot via named pipe, and then talk to your service via the API.
