I had the On Intelligence book lying around the house and I didn’t pay attention the first time I read it.  Last week I decided to read it again.  I’d recommend that everybody interested in AI read it.  Hawkins knows what he’s talking about and has the best grasp of the functions of the cortex than anybody I’ve seen.
