I’m trying now to create a style for Notepad++ but it looks like the styling options are really limited (or I’m missing something).

Issues:
1. folding - would like to have that for topics, but in order to define folding need a closing characters.
2. nesting - would like to have () colored but also <<>> inside of (). Doesn’t seem to work.


Anyone has some experience with styling and can help?

sorry no experience with notepad++

if you achieve sharable result you could do a pull request inserting here:

On windows, notepad++ a part, my gist is to use splendid sublime Text (+ the CS plugin)

My side I done a vim plugin available in the above link. Still rough and incomplete.

Notepad ++ has an option that I use for displaying keywords.

In short: Go to Settings > Style Configurator > Choose language > Click at KEYWORD / INSTRUCTION and add your own keywords.

The attached are my current settings for notepad +.
