Hello Chatbot Community!

In the process of choosing a master thesis topic for my Web Science degree. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where to best concentrate my efforts based on the collective knowledge of work that has already been done in this field. I have two directions I am currently debating:

1. First idea is to focus on chatbots and deep learning as an essential contribution for the future of organizations.I found an article on Chatbots and organizational learning for example here: http://www.forbes.com/sites/danielnewman/2016/06/28/how-chatbots-and-deep-learning-will-change-the-future-of-organizations/#4f8a21546563

2. Second idea is more holistic and it would focus on integration of AI in an organisation. The discussion would range runs from the integration of chatbots until open source software. Quick background on myself: studied international business (specialized in finance) and working full time for a data drive advertising company. Looking to use this experience as a gateway towards new opportunities in the A.I world.

I would focus on #2. Because it is a little more concrete. It requires becoming intimate with the real subject. With #1 you will be studying black boxes inside black boxes - it is too abstract.
