Hi to everyone. I am learning AIML and I am new. I was learning everything smoothly till I met this challenge regarding synonyms:

<category>
<!—Using synonyms—>
_ PAPA *</pattern>
<template><srai><star> FATHER <star index=“2”></srai></template>
</category>

The synonym does not work, though everything seems to be correct.
I am waiting for your response.

1. Try closing your star tags with /

<star/> FATHER <star index="2"/> 

2. Try removing space after and before the pattern tags.  Try adding spaces after and before the pattern tags.

<pattern>_ PAPA *</pattern>
or
<pattern> _ PAPA * </pattern>
