Hey everyone, as I’m new to the group I wanted to introduce myself and my Slack bot, MailClark (mailclark.ai).
One of the most frustrating things about being a Slack user is that much of the world still runs on emails. That means leaving Slack frequently to check your inbox, sacrificing all of Slack’s benefits just to keep up.
MailClark makes it so you never have to leave Slack. It turns your emails into Slack messages, and vice versa. It handles all the formatting between the two, so emails you receive fit into Slack perfectly, whereas emails you send look just like they came from Gmail. And all your conversations live in the same platform.
We’re adding more intelligence features, like automatically relaying messages to the right person based on content, so if anyone has ideas of what this could do, we’re all ears. Looking forward to chatting with you, and maybe your bots, too!

While I’m not totally sure whether your visit here was an attempt to stop in and say Hello or to plug a shameless self promotion of your product. It’s just that Spammers are so abundant and bothersome for some sites to deal with. I hope yours is not the case but It’s always better to err on the side of caution. Just taking up a little bit of Slack (pun intended).

MailClark seems like an interesting innovation, and could prove useful to those who have made Slack their “home”. I don’t think it exactly qualifies as a “chatbot”, per se, but it’s an interesting concept, and I’d like to hear more about it when you have time.

@Art, no need to apologize, I think. Your caution is warranted, though in this case I wouldn’t categorize Anthony’s posts as “spam”. I’m glad that you’ve stepped up to look after the community’s best interests since I’m not able to visit as often as I would like to, and I encourage you to continue to have our collective backs in the future.
