Dear forum

I’m doing some work to get Uberbot going with AIML v2. Are there any sample files for the new sets and maps features? The AIML v2 document “AIML - Sets and Maps in AIML 2.0” mentions sets and maps like color and zip2city. Do these exist or are we supposed to make up our own smile

I’m looking at the set “color.txt” and I noticed a few colors using non-alphanumeric characters, such as slashes and e with an acute accent. I thought <set>color</set> was intended for use in the pattern part of the category, having the same effect as if a large number of identical categories was created using each element of “color.txt”. Surely then, the colors using non alpha chars could never be matched, as user input is normalized to remove all suchlike characters.

Am I misunderstanding something?

Those characters are bogus.  If you send me an email, I will send you an updated color.txt file.
