Inactive bots.

I enjoy chatting with all sorts of bots and seeing what innovations others have come up with.  However, when I search bots using the picture galley I see a lot of listings saying, “This chatbot is no longer available!”

I understand the significance of maintaining inactive bots for historical purposes, so might there be a way of separating the active from the inactive the way it’s done at some lists where inactive and lost bots are categorized?

I’ll move this thread in a minute to our Admin forum…

It’s quite to filter not active chatbot in our directory in the left columns, see attachment.

Only for the gallery, which is just a visual impression, we haven’t added this function. We actually want to have ‘old’ chatbots here as well.

Thank you, but while inactive bots may be grayed out, they still appear.  Searching only to find bots that are no longer active is a bit of a time-waster.  I’d suggest something like a separate list to differentiate between active and inactive or lost bots.

The other day, as I was clicking icons in the gallery, the first three bots i clicked were grayed-out, saying “This chatbot is no longer available!”

I’m sure that besides maintaining old inactive listings, you want a system that’s useful and serves a purpose.

The picture gallery is not really for browsing. It’s mainly for media who want to create a visual snapshot for there press releases. The directory tab contains zillions of ways to select and filter chatbots. ‘Gallery’ might be moved to ‘media’ kit or so, instead of being part of the directory. We’ll take this into consideration. Thanks!
