Quoting should be easier. If you select a piece of text and you press quote, this should be added via javascript to the fast reply area.
If you press ‘advanced reply’ your text should be copied into a cookie and the reply form shoud read if there is a fast reply text available.
Actually, what would be even nicer, is that the advanced reply is merged in the thread.
